The Art in the Public Landscape 2026 Conference, jointly hosted by BMS School of Architecture and Zinnov Foundation invites contributions that explore art in public spaces across two broad umbrellas: Public Policy and Urban Design for art in public spaces. Together, these frameworks highlight the systemic, participatory, infrastructural, and experiential dimensions of art in public spaces. We invite scholars, practitioners, policymakers, artists, and community leaders to submit abstracts that explore the intersections of art in public spaces with governance, civic life, and urban design. The conference seeks to foster dialogue across disciplines and practices, highlighting how art in public spaces shapes-and is shaped by-policy frameworks, community narratives, and the built environment. Selected full papers meeting blind peer review and publisher requirements for quality of work will be submitted for Scopus indexing and published by COPAL.
